Our First Post!

Hooray! We have been tossing around the idea of creating a blog for a long time and finally decided to make it happen. That being said, here is our first post!

We started dating 3 years ago on the 14th. I am ridiculously excited about how we finally get to spend our dating anniversary together! We had a long distance relationship up until we got married and moved in together. This is the first time we will be together on March 14th since our very first date back on March 14, 2005!

Our marriage is wonderful, and most of our favorite parts revolve around not always having to say "goodbye." Holy moly, I feel sorry for everyone who ever had to wait in line at an airport or sit next to me on a plane after leaving from our visits. I was always in an awful state! Getting to spend every day together, not having deadlines on fun times, and being together for special occasions is just wonderful.

Our life now is pretty normal.... sort of. We have fantastic, uber-crazy families that we love and looove spending time with (and getting visits from..... hint hint!). We have big plans for the future, too! We dream of starting a family, traveling TONS, and buying an awesome house (a great old house stuffed full of character if I get my way), then making it super eco-friendly.

Actually, being eco-friendly is something we're both getting interested in. It seems rather crazy to take billions of pounds of materials out of the world and put so much useless pollution back into it. Why don't all new houses have to come with a solar panel covered roof for example? We have all sorts of plans for how we would like to make our footsteps lighter on the world, but I'm sure we'll post lots more about this topic later.

For now, it's back to regular life. I promise, this blog will get more interesting soon!
